Her birth date was March 29, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her first name. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Her parents are Mexican as well as American. Since she was a child she's had a keen interest in playing athletics. Gerina began playing golf at the age of 15. Gerina finished her high-school education in Goddard High School. She was the winner of her place in the New Mexico State Golf Tournament at the age of high school. Along with playing volleyball, she also competed at the state level. She attended in the University of Texas in 2003. In her senior year she was the winner of every competition she participated in. During undergraduate studies, she earned the titles as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
