Adams was born to an U.S. Army officer in Italy and was raised within Castle Rock Colorado. Mid-1990s, she started doing professional dance and performance at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she performed in a regional theatre where she played a role in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a parody documentary about beauty pages. Following her debut on screen as a charming but snarky contestant, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She's the mother of Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's career in film began in the mid- 1940s, after she was signed by MGM. Her name was noticed by Norma shearer. She appeared in a range of films that became popular over the following decade, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) and Living It Up (1954) with Martin Lewis.
