Anne Phung Nguyen

Hello, my name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my wonderful fianc JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. Many people are familiar with me via my Instagram account @annephung, where I share my life- my highs, lows and all in between. In 1990, my family moved to America. When I was of one and a quarter I was accepted into my parents. Being aware of the possibility at a better future I strived to make them proud and had a clear vision in the direction of achievement. My mind knew what the plan was to live my life. Attend college, and then graduate. Get married. Get a home. Get kids. The life I had thought I would have wasn't what it turned out to be. 2013 was the year I realized I disliked my corporate position. Although the salary and status were good but I did not feel that it was fulfilling. Instead I felt that I was simply spending my time. In 2013, I realized that my passion was working out. I also loved having fun and being able to assist other people. As I moved towards the new direction of my life, I found private training. In 2014 I started my business on the side and in this year in 2021, I'll be celebrating my 7th year anniversary. There are very few Asian women are employed in the fashion industry. My goal in this industry is to build a more durable and healthy life style that is in line with the desires of my clients. It is my aim for me to help others chase their goals and live the lives they have always wanted. When my work was taking off, I experienced one of the biggest losses in my life to datethat of losing my mom. She fought a long and arduous fight with the disease and now rests in Heaven and is with me in my mind and heart always. It is amazing how life gives us exactly the lesson we need, even when we don't realize that it is there. My mother's death affected me greatly and I think she was the one who gave me a second chance at life. Her passing at Tet/Lunar New Year Day was an opportunity for her to begin a new life. For me, it was a second chance for me to lead a fulfilled life. In the 30's I am more alive than I ever have. I can truly say that I am living my life now, and not just surviving just like I did before. In sharing my story I hope my story will be a source of inspiration for you. My hope is that my words can help you realize that you're never alone. I believe that you are blessed with the capacity to succeed in whatever you want to achieve. My hope is to live your life fully and that your final resting place is not a regret, since that's the only thing that we have to be confident about during this lifetime.
